It has been an absolutely fantastic season for Jonna Sundling.
The Swede with double WC gold this year now sums up the season in the best way.
With a wonderful picture together with the radar partner in the ski tracks.
Recent years have Jonna Sundling really dominated the sprint races in the major championships. In 2021, the Swede won double WC gold in the sprint, the following year it was Olympic gold in the individual sprint and in 2023 it was time again.
Sundling’s success
Sundling once again showed the entire skiing world his great potential by winning double World Championship gold for the second straight World Championship in a row. First victory in the individual race and then also victory together with the new radar partner Emma Ribom in the relay.

Just Sundling/Ribom has been an unstoppable duo this season. Because even though Jonna had to give up several times against the Norwegian star Kristine Stavå’s Ski City during the end of the season at the World Cup, she got a big revenge together with Emma.

Together with Ribom
During the last World Cup weekend in Lahtis, the blue-yellow super duo once again showed their full potential by defeating the world elite again and winning the sprint relay. When the Swedish skiing elite had gathered this weekend for the SM in Kalix, it was that time again.

Sundling and Ribom were paired again and were once again completely superior when they drove home the SM gold in the sprint relay to Piteå Elit.

That very victory picture sums up the ski season in the best way and rings in what an incomparably good season Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom have had. The duo is also highly praised on social media for their many fine efforts during the winter.
