The development process of XVI, the last leg of the Final Fantasy series, one of the pioneers of the action-RPG genre, has been completed. The countdown to the release date has begun.
Square Enix announced on Twitter that the development process of Final Fantasy XVI has been completed. In the post, they also stated that the whole team, including Kurt Torgal, one of the characters we will meet in the last game of the series, is waiting for the release date impatiently.

With this statement, we can say that the development process has been completed and physical copies will be printed and released again without delay. After this stage, the teams will work on fixing the remaining problems and bugs of the game. The company will try to give the best experience to the players on the release date.
Final Fantasy XVI, which was announced to be released on June 22, 2023, in the last days of 2022, will meet primarily with Playstation 5 players. The Standard Version of Final Fantasy XVI, which is available for pre-order on the Playstation Store, will be available for 799.00 TL and the Digital Deluxe Version for 999.00 TL.
The production, which will remain exclusive to the PS5 console for six months, will then meet with PC players. Producer Naoki Yoshida warns in his previous posts that PC gamers should not wait for the game right after the six-month period when FF XVI was released exclusively for Playstation 5. According to his statement, it may take a little more time to be released for the PC platform after the end of the period.
