Then Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom showed again that they are the best.
The WC gold duo won SC gold by far in the sprint relay today.
When it comes to sprints, the Swedish duo has Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom had a super season. First, they both took gold and silver in the individual sprint at the World Ski Championships and then together they won World Championship gold in the sprint relay.

When the World Cup ended in Finnish Lahtis recently, the team Sundling/Ribom won the sprint relay again. On Friday, it was that time again when the sprint relay was decided during the ski championships in Kalix.

Sundling and Ribom together formed Piteå Elite’s first team and they would not disappoint either. When the Swedish skiing elite had gathered for the SC week, it was once again the WC gold duo who secured another gold when they won the SC gold by a landslide.

“Fun double”
The sprint relay was already decided on the fifth stretch when Ribom and Sundling put on a great show. Piteå Elit’s first team won by a full 21 seconds before Piteå Elit’s second team with Ebba Andersson and Lisa Ingesson in second place.
– Definitely a nice experience. It’s an incredibly nice track and the tracks are great. There is nothing wrong with the material. We are strong today and it’s fun that the body and the skis are working, says Sundling on Expressen’s television broadcast.
– Nice that we managed to pick up a double, says teammate Ribom.

Third in the SM was Falun Borlänge with the skaters Maja Dahlqvist and Louise Lindström. Sollefteå with Frida Karlsson in the lead came in fourth place.
