One of Norwegian skiing’s greatest has given thanks.
Now the Swedes Ebba Andersson and Jonna Sundling are sending their beautiful support.
“You have inspired and will be missed,” writes Jonna to the Norwegian.

There have been many dust-ups over the years where several Swedes have settled with the Norwegians Ragnhild Haga in the ski tracks. Now the competitor from the neighboring country has been forced to make the tough decision and end his career for good.

Retires

The 32-year-old has decided that the very last ski race will be on Friday during the three-mile at the Norwegian championships. Haga can boast double Olympic gold from Pyeongchang 2018 and this year she also made history by winning the very first women’s five-mile in the Norwegian Holmenkollen.

But now it’s time to put the skis and boots on the famous shelf. An extremely emotional message for Haga.
“I feel that I need a change in my life, even if it feels sad and strange. But I look forward to finding new goals to achieve. I also look forward to being more at home with those who have supported me over the years,” writes the Norwegian in her farewell on Instagram.
