The MP top’s criticism of Jomshof’s (SD) tweet: “Racist conspiracy theory rhetoric”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

On Tuesday evening, Richard Jomshof (SD), who is chairman of the justice committee, published a post on Twitter:

“Gang crime and organized crime is largely an imported problem. The Swedes are on the way to becoming a minority in their own country. There is an Islamization going on. There are no conspiracy theories but facts.”

The tweet has provoked strong reactions, including from Member of Parliament Ardalan Shekarabi (S).

– The conflict we have in this area is between law-abiding citizens and gang criminals. Not between people who have Swedish roots and those who have roots in other countries, he says in Sweden meets.

The researcher: “People exchange” is a conspiracy

That the Swedish population is being replaced by Muslims is a well-known conspiracy theory according to researcher Christer Mattsson, docent in pedagogy at the Segerstedt Institute at the University of Gothenburg.

– People have not come here to exchange Swedes for non-Swedes. They have come here because the world is very unequal. People come here to get better living conditions and we have had a migration policy that has allowed this, says Christer Mattson to Göteborgs-Posten.

Åkesson: Pure mathematics

Party leader Jimmie Åkesson (SD) comments on his party colleague’s tweet as follows:

– It is clear that we have a demographic change in Swedish society that has happened very quickly. To me it’s pure math. Then you can think that it is good or bad. We think it risks having serious consequences for society, he says to SVT Nyheter.
