The new edition is a kind of class reunion with extremely prominent ex-students. Because the cast of Scott Pilgrim produced some top stars. Chris Evans and Brie Larson rose to fame in the MCU. Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aubrey Plaza and Kieran Culkin continue to be popular series and indie stars. Comedy star Anna Kendrick is also back, as are Ellen Wong and Alison Pill.
What is Scott Pilgrim about?
Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is a 23-year-old bass player in a rock band who is dating high school student Knives (Ellen Wong). Everything could be so beautiful in the life of the eternal idler. But then he meets the mysterious Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) at a party, with whom he falls head over heels. Ramona is also interested in him, but there are a number of obstacles standing in Scott Pilgrim’s way.
Ramona tells him that if he really wants to get together with her, he has to defeat her seven ex-boyfriends. The former lovers’ alliance controls Ramona’s love life and does everything they can to ruin Scott Pilgrim’s tour. The closer he gets to his goal, the more merciless the duels between the exes and Scott Pilgrim become.
When will the Scott Pilgrim remake be out?
Netflix has not yet announced an exact start date for Scott Pilgrim The Anime. On the YouTube channel there is talk of “coming soon”. A start in less than a month is realistic.
