Let’s Dance 2023 has kicked off and, as usual, it’s a crowd of well-known faces fighting for the winner’s title and the dent shaped like a dance shoe.
First to leave the TV4 program was the former footballer Nilla Fischer who subsequently reacted to the Let’s Dance result in a post on Instagram.

Several participants injured in Let’s Dance 2023
Even though the Let’s Dance season has only been going for a few weeks, several contestants have already injured themselves. On Instagram has Johan Jureskog showed an injury he sustained during a dance practice and Johanna Lind Ramge has told about how she was able to seek medical attention.
So far, the influencer and the artist have Andreas Wijk escaped unscathed, but observant viewers may have noticed that the 30-year-old, wearing the classic low-cut Let’s Dance shirts, has a scar across his chest.
Andreas Wijk on the heart defect: “Close to death”
The background to the scar stretches all the way back to Andreas Wijk’s childhood. He was born with a heart defect and, even as a child, had to undergo several operations to survive.
When Andreas was 20 years old, a titanium valve was operated into his heart and he has incorporated the sound of this valve into his song “Square One” as a symbol of the journey he has made and the challenges he has tackled.
– I have been incredibly close to death, twice. I was basically dead for twelve hours during my second surgery, when my heart was stopped. You kind of get a broader perspective, and realize that you live for something bigger. That everything is not about me, he has previously said The Express.
