House of the Dragon Season 2 release date seems to be 2024. Although the exact date is not known, if we consider that the first season was broadcast in October, we think that the second season will start in the same period.
We don’t know much about the second season yet. However, co-creator Ryan Condal, who spoke to press organizations in the past weeks, stated that the series would include more dragons.
The second season of House of the Dragon will expand into the war of succession known as “Dance of Dragons”. This already shows that we will meet more creatures, not just dragons.
Based on George RR Martin’s Fire and Blood, House of the Dragon chronicles the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only dragonlord family to survive the Valyrian Apocalypse. It takes place 200 years before the events of the award-winning TV series adaptation of Game of Thrones, the last episode of which was published in 2019.
