Armand Duplantis is the world’s best pole vaulter right now.
Now “Mondo” opens up about his great love for Desiré Inglander.
– The last few years have been the best of my life, he says in the podcast “Pittcast”.
He is at the peak of his career and life is really playing for Armand Duplantis. At 23 years old, the pole vaulting world star has already won every gold medal there is to win and is the undisputed number 1.
Duplanti’s success
In 2022, he cemented his position as the world’s best pole vaulter by winning double WC and EC gold, breaking a bunch of world records as well. The new year has also started just as well for the Swedish athletics star, who is hot right now.

Although he was above the indoor EC and a given gold medal to the collection, “Mondo” showed that there is no doubt about the form. Duplantis began 2023 by breaking his sixth world record, flying over 6.22 meters in Clermond Ferrand, France.

Love Desire
But it is not always completely to be the best in the world and combine everyday life with a social life. Now Armand Duplantis opens up about what life looks like besides pole vaulting.
– I have a social life. I’ve always had a tight circle around me and I have a couple of really close friends, says Mondo in the podcast “Pittcast”.
– I would say that I do more things now than when I was in junior high school. I didn’t party or anything when I was in junior high school. It didn’t feel appealing. But I feel that today I have a good balance between everything.

By his side, Duplantis also has his girlfriend and partner Desire Inglander. They have been together for two years and live together in an apartment in Stockholm.

Mondo admits in the podcast how important she is to him and how much she supports him. He really speaks from the heart when he gives the 21-year-old a beautiful declaration of love.
– Yes, she is fantastic. The last two years that we have been a couple have been the best years of my life, even in my career. It has also helped me to be able to relax a little more, says the 23-year-old.
– She is very understanding.
