STROMAE. After announcing the cancellation of several concerts, the singer Stromae will not be able to perform in Nantes for “health reasons.”
[Mis à jour le 29 mars 2023 à 18h07] Stromae cancels new concerts. After announcing last week the cancellation of three dates in Strasbourg and Amnéville, the singer is forced to give up performing at the Zénith de Nantes. Three concerts were planned, from Wednesday March 29 to Friday March 31. “The Stromae’s state of health does not allow it to perform the 3 concerts scheduled for this week at the Zenith in Nantes, from March 29 to 31. We are therefore forced to cancel these 3 performances”, indicates Auguri Productions, producer of Stromae, in a press release published this Wednesday, March 29.
For the time being, no other information on the state of health of the Belgian artist has been communicated by his teams, who reported, last week, the same “medical reasons” leading to the cancellation of these shows. Tickets for the Stromae concerts at the Zénith de Nantes will not be postponed, a refund is in place for spectators. Note that the singer must perform in Nantes on two additional (and full) dates, October 3 and 4, 2023.
Stromae’s next concert dates are scheduled for Amsterdam, April 13, 14 and 15, 2023. He must then return to France, with a concert in Toulouse on April 21. Concerns around Stromae’s health are all the greater as the singer has in the past had to put his career on hold due to health issues. After being the victim of psychic decompensation caused by a reaction to an antimalarial treatment, Stromae suffered from psychic problems, preventing him from returning to the stage.
