The cost of receiving home care differs greatly between different parts of the country, according to a compilation by the National Board of Health and Welfare.
In nearly half of the municipalities, the cost is over SEK 300 per hour. The most expensive municipality charges SEK 488 an hour, almost seven times as much as the cheapest which charges SEK 70 an hour.
The National Board of Health and Welfare must investigate the large fee differences between the municipalities in more detail.
