Blue Protocol is a new anime MMORPG that is scheduled for release in 2023. But lately the game has been a little quieter. New videos about the classes have now been published in Korea. In addition, there will probably be a lot more gameplay to see from March 31st.
What’s happening at Blue Protocol right now? The new MMORPG was supposed to start in Japan in the spring of 2023 and then come to us in the West over the course of the year. Publisher here is Amazon. But even before the first network test in January, there was bad news: The test was postponed for more than two months – due to a serious error.
Little information has been shared since then. The western website has not even received an update since December 2022. Now Smilegate, the developer of Lost Ark, has published the Korean website for Blue Protocol. And there are some new details.

The network test starts on March 31, finally bringing more gameplay videos
What about the network test now? The first major test since 2021 will take place in Japan starting March 31. The main thing there is to stress the servers. So there are some restrictions.
So the testers can only level up to level 20, only play the first story chapter and not access all quests.
Only players who live in Japan are officially allowed to take the test. Some players have signed up for it using VPNs, but bans have also been reported, according to fansite Blue Protocol Database (via Twitter).
Will there finally be more gameplay? Very likely, because the test is not under NDA. In a live stream, the developers only asked to avoid story spoilers so as not to spoil the anticipation of the other players.
When can we play Blue Protocol? We in the west should also be able to play a beta for Blue Protocol in the future. You can register for these now. When the beta will take place exactly is not known.
The same applies to a release date. So far, it still only says that Blue Protocol should appear in the second half of 2023.
