Sweden defeated Azerbaijan by a whopping 5-0 in the European Championship qualifiers and one thinks that everything should be peace and joy then. But that was not the case when the national team captain Jan Andersson visited the Viaplay studio directly after the match.

The whole thing developed into a huge fight between Janne and the TV expert Bojan Djordjic. When Bojan asked a critical question about why not Jesper Karlsson got more playing time during the last two international matches, Janne responded with a strong counterattack and both of them started fighting for several minutes, see the video below.

The whole of football Sweden is now talking about the mess live and the Swedish national team captain has had to receive a lot of criticism from a lot of football fans and people with opinions on social media. Most people now demand that Janne apologize to Bojan Djordjic.

Elmander’s criticism
Now also the former national team striker and now the expert gives himself up Johan Elmander into the debate with harsh criticism. The 41-year-old, with 85 international matches and 20 goals for Sweden, sees no other way out than that the national team captain must apologise, see the argument below.
– He has to do that, there is nothing else to do here. Janne has to go out and apologize to Bojan. The two of them have to sit down and solve this, that is the first step, says Elmander to Radiosporten.

If Janne Andersson does not apologize, he can no longer remain as the national team captain for Sweden, Johan Elmander now believes.
– If he doesn’t do it, then I think he should resign. To have such a tantrum as the national team captain, it simply cannot happen. Then maybe he is not the right man in the right place, he tells the radio channel.
