A Finnish Member of Parliament for the Coalition Party, Ben Zyskowicz, has been attacked outside in Helsinki on his way home. The perpetrator threatened to kill Zyskowicz and talked about NATO and Judaism, reports EPN.
The incident is condemned by President Sauli Niinistö, Prime Minister Sanna Marin and several Finnish politicians.
“Hatred, threats and violence during an election campaign are a crime against democracy,” writes President Sauli Niinistö on Twitter.
The incident has been reported to the police.
