After the Lionsgate+ streaming service was pulled, some series were left homeless. The British thriller series Killing Eve by series genius Phoebe Waller-Bridge has ZDF Mediathek found a new home.

You shouldn’t miss the 1st and 2nd seasons in particular. The 1st season of Killing Eve is now available to stream in the media library. The remaining three seasons are coming in April:
The darkly humorous thriller gem has an ingenious twist
Killing Eve is based on the Villanelle book series by Luke Jennings. Two outstanding actresses, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, engage in a game of cat and mouse in the mischievous series. Grey’s Anatomy ex-actress Oh plays one motivated MI5 officer on the trail of one no less motivated assassin.
The series does have one though twist: The two developed an ever stronger fascination for each other. It feels a bit like the Hannibal series with Mads Mikkelsen, but a thousand times funnier.

Especially the 1st and 2nd seasons of Killing Eve are thriller jewels by brilliant authors.
Each season comes from a different author – from comedy to horror
The gripping thriller series has four seasons in total, each led by a different showrunner:
Seasons 1 and 2 received plaudits, while the other two received mixed reviews. As the lead writer for Season 1, no one could have been better suited than the sharp-witted and black humored Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Waller-Bridge was particularly successful with her comedy series Fleabag. As showrunner and main actress of the Amazon series * she tells about the depressing (sex) life of a guinea pig café owner.
For James Bond 007 – No Time to Die she was probably recommended by Daniel Craig himself as a screenwriter and she is also said to be a co-writer for the 26th Bond film.
