Drug addicts kept a million in cash at the clinic – sentenced

A doctor in Stockholm has prescribed prescription drugs that are classified as narcotics to a large number of patients, against payment.
In a raid on the doctor’s clinic, the police found, among other things, one million kroner in cash and drugs classified as narcotics.
Now the doctor is sentenced to four years in prison for serious drug crime, serious accounting crime, tax crime and false certification, reports SVT Nyheter Stockholm.
According to the Inspectorate for Care and Care, the doctor will lose his ID.

Teenagers stopped by police – suspected of drug offences
Police on Södermalm in Stockholm today stopped two boys, 14 and 15 years old.
According to witnesses, the two boys had thrown away a bag and started running from the scene, the police write on their website.
The bag was found to contain suspected narcotics.
Both boys’ guardians came to the scene and were informed of the police findings.
The police have now seized the drugs and the two boys are suspected of drug offences.

Actor Lindsay Lohan and YouTube celebrity Jake Paul have been indicted on suspicion of fraud linked to the crypto company Tronix and BitTorrent, the US regulatory agency SEC writes in a press release.
The SEC has uncovered fraud linked to company founder Justin Sun.
Among other things, he allegedly paid celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul and Akon to stir up interest without it appearing that they were paid, reports CNBC.
The SEC has reached a settlement with the suspects in the investigation. All but rapper Solja Boy have agreed to pay a $400,000 fee.
Got a falling lamp post on him – taken to hospital
In connection with a car driving into a lamppost on Ystadsvägen outside Malmö, a person was hit by the lamppost, Sydsvenskan reports.
The person was taken to hospital and the condition of the injuries is unclear.

A shop in Knivsta has been robbed.
The staff has been threatened with a knife, the police write.

Suspicious object in Helsingborg was harmless
In connection with a house search in an apartment in Helsingborg, a suspected dangerous object was found, the police write on their website.
The property was cordoned off and the National Bomb Squad was called in.
After investigation, the police can determine that the object is harmless.
The doomsday message from the US central bank
The US central bank, the Federal Reserve, raises the key interest rate by 25 basis points.
The announcement comes after a two-day meeting where the board of the central bank tried to find the balance between reducing inflation and preventing more banks from collapsing.

Prince William appears – in Poland
Britain’s Prince William, 40, appeared at a military base in Poland on Wednesday, reports say Sky News.
The visit, which was organized in the utmost secrecy, came about as the prince wanted to personally thank the Polish and British forces supporting Ukraine.
The base is located approximately 9.6 miles from the border with Ukraine, which means that Prince William is now the royal closest to the war in Ukraine, Sky News writes.
The prince met, among other things, the Polish Minister of Defense, and will meet President Andrzej Duda on Thursday.
School shooting in Colorado
Denver police have responded to a school shooting in Colorado.
It is unclear how many were injured, but the police wrote on Twitter that two adults were taken to hospital.
The perpetrator is said to have fled the scene.
Billström wants an explanation from Hungary
The Hungarian parliament is expected to vote on Finland’s membership in NATO on Monday.
Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (M) has not received any explanation as to why Hungary seems to be moving towards sharing Sweden’s and Finland’s NATO applications, writes TT.
– If it were to become a reality, I think an explanation is required from the Hungarian side, he says.
He emphasizes that a parliamentary delegation from the governing party Fidesz was in Stockholm on March 7. At that time, no objections were raised against Sweden.

Minister of Finance praises Lidl: “Hope the food giants follow”
Lidl is lowering the price of over a hundred items, the company writes in a press release.

“Very good that Lidl is taking the lead by lowering and freezing its prices on over a hundred items. I hope that the big food giants follow their example and in this way make everyday life easier for all the households that are now struggling with high prices,” she writes on Twitter.
New York Times: No indictment against Trump today
The jury investigating ex-president Donald Trump’s role in the “hush money case” will not meet today, despite that being the plan, the New York Times reports.
It is still unclear why.
Trump is at risk of impeachment after suspicions that he paid “hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels.
In the days Trump himself went out and claimed that he would be arrested on Tuesday, something that did not happen.
To indict the president, a majority of the 23 members sitting on the jury must vote in favor.
