Why is level 20 so unusual? Well, before the beta, Blizzard advertised a gift if you level your hero up to level 20 in the beta. You get a cute wolf on your back there, which you can always carry with you.
The interesting thing is, however, that you cannot get hold of the gift on the side, because after completing the first act you move between level 14 – 16 depending on the level of difficulty.
You must have actively explored the world, completed dungeons, completed side quests, or slaughtered enemies to efficiently level up to 20 in the beta.
For this reason, it is very likely that many players wanted to secure their sweet bonus first. Overall, therefore, more than 1 million players have reached level 20, according to Blizzard.
Do I still have a chance to get the gift? Even if you don’t pre-order, you still have the chance to treat yourself to the wolf. Diablo 4 opens its doors for the open beta over the weekend from Friday, March 24th at 5:00 p.m. to Monday, March 27th at 9:00 p.m. Every platform can test the beta there for free without restrictions.
So if you want to treat yourself to the wolf because you want to buy Diablo 4 later, you still have a chance with the open beta. You just have to reach level 20. You will then receive the wolf for the full release of Diablo 4.
