Former President of the United States Donald Trump writes on his own social media service, Truth Social, that he believes he will be arrested next Tuesday.
He urges his supporters to protest.
Trump says he received “illegally leaked” information referring to this from the “corrupt and political” district attorney’s office in Manhattan, New York. The BBC writes about it, among others.

A jury will hear the case

The case investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office involves a porn star to Stormy Daniels. Trump has been suspected of paying Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to keep quiet after an alleged sexual relationship. Trump has denied the suspicions.
