A completely new event is running in FIFA 23 with FUT Ballers. We summarize the information on this here.
When does FUT Ballers start? FUT Ballers launched in Ultimate Team on Friday 17th March 2023. Event start is at 7:00 p.m.
The announcement of the event came as a bit of a surprise. On the one hand, because it is a completely new event for FIFA 23, but also because players had actually expected the FUT Birthday. In FIFA 22, for example, the FUT Birthday was still running in March.
The traditional birthday event has probably been postponed for now. One thing is clear: the “FUT Ballers” event is now running.
FUT Ballers in FIFA 23 – Upgrade Cards with SBCs & Objectives
What is FUT Ballers? FUT Ballers is a completely new event that has not existed in previous FIFA offshoots.
It started on March 17th at 19:00 – and not with a team that ends up in packs, as is often the case with other events. Instead, there are daily Squad Building Challenges with different players throughout the event week.
EA already showed some of them on Twitter:
These, in turn, can then be improved by completing appropriate “Play-to-Style” challenges.
EA Sports also stated that you could earn a “FUT Birthday Team 1” pack by completing the “Play-to-Style” goals in full. That should be available from March 24th. Then the birthday event should be coming up (via EA.com).
In German, the tasks are called “Spiel mit Stil” challenges. The first Squad Building Challenge is already available. There you can get Liverpool player Luis Díaz for your team. You only need one team to trade in, with the requirements: One Liverpool player, 83 team rating, 11 players in total.
The task should therefore be easy to solve if you can fall back on a few players from the club. More SBCs are likely to follow in the coming days.
Last ran the “Fantasy” event in FIFA 23. That also brought an SBC for Dante, who got a pretty crazy Forward card for FIFA 23.
