Kerttu Niskanen has won the 10 km traditional intermediate start race held in Falun, Sweden. The win is Niskanen’s second World Cup of the season. He celebrated a victory at the beginning of the season in Beitostölen, Norway, on the same trip.

Niskanen was at a good pace from the beginning. At the 1.5 kilometer intermediate point, he was second, four seconds behind Sweden For Jonna Sundling lost.

The Finn took the top spot with a 4.3 kilometer intermediate point. Niskanen increased his lead with the following intermediate points and finally won with a difference of 15.9 seconds.

The other was from Germany Katharina Hennig. Norwegian Anne Kjersti Kalvå was third.
