When a helicopter carrying PKK terrorists crashed in northern Iraq, it was a matter of curiosity how the helicopter fell into the hands of the organization, while the eyes were turned to the USA, which provides training and weapons support to the organization’s arm in Syria.

Reminding that the helicopter carrying PKK members crashed, the AA correspondent said, “Do you give helicopter piloting training to the SDF in Syria?” Asked Ryder, “No, as far as I know.” gave the answer.

The Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKRG), Anti-Terrorism Unit, made a statement on the official Facebook page regarding the helicopter that crashed in the Çemanke district of Duhok and gave the following statements:

“Relevant institutions in the Kurdistan region contacted the Iraqi central government, international coalition forces and Turkey regarding the crashed helicopter, but it was reported that the helicopter did not belong to them. The security forces launched a preliminary investigation into the helicopter and the first findings were that the helicopter was Eurocopter AS350 type and some of the dead were PKK militants. A detailed investigation continues to determine exactly who the helicopter belongs to.”

The Ministry of National Defense, in a statement yesterday, announced that the allegations in some social media accounts such as “the helicopter belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) fell in the north of Iraq” did not reflect the truth. (AA)
