What are we going to eat in the future? And how should you eat today to protect yourself tomorrow? To find out, the ANCA Chair created a comic strip on Instagram, “Je mange pour le Futur”, intended for 18-25 year olds.
By 2030, today’s 18/25 year olds will represent three quarters of the working population. While a quarter of the carbon footprint of the French is linked to food according to ADEME-IDDRI, the stakes are therefore high, both in terms of climate and health. And according to INREA, changing our eating habits alone may be enough to reduce 30% of the carbon impact of our food.
Except that even when you want to make good choices, it’s not easy to know where to turn. So the Instagram account I EatForTheFuture compiles the latest data from scientific literature in nutrition, eating behavior, sociology or agronomy. All in a playful way and embodied by Sasha, a young woman of 26 years old.
Press review, recipes and key figures
Halfway between investigation and fiction, the account already offers many easy recipes to make at home such as spring rolls with winter vegetables or stuffed pumpkin in the oven, but also podcasts to listen to, magazines or articles. .
