The provisional turnout for the Provincial Council elections is 57.5 percent, reports the election service of the ANP after counting 88.5 percent of the votes. That is slightly more than in 2019, when it was 56.2 percent. The turnout so far seems to be the highest in Friesland at 65.5 percent. In the previous elections in 2019, this was still the province of Utrecht, with 61.6 percent. Drenthe follows closely this year with 65.2, followed by Overijssel with 64.4 percent. From the provisional figures, the turnout seems to be the lowest in North Holland at 51.3 percent.
