A woman in her 20s was charged with aggravated assault, assault and molestation of her three-year-old daughter. The case received a lot of attention last fall after videos of the violence were spread on social media. Today at 2 p.m. Blekinge district court announced the verdict. She was convicted of the three charges and sentenced to two years in prison. The mother has admitted the abuse but said it should not be classified as serious. Conversation with unknown person According to the woman, it was an unknown man on social media who urged her to abuse her daughter. – Okay, they were a guy that I started writing with on Instagram… And before these three days, he told me that I’m going to, like, beat my daughter and stuff like that, then that I’m going to send film proof to him, says the mother in a hearing. In the woman’s phone, the police were able to find a chat conversation with an unknown person that corroborates her story. The three-year-old girl is handled by social authorities.
