A speed camera in the center of Amersfoort has been switched off for months after an intervention by the Public Prosecution Service. Unclear signage and poor communication led to a flood of fines, warnings and objections. The camera is now back on. The municipality says, together with the Public Prosecution Service, that it has made improvements to, among other things, the provision of information.
