In Sweden’s master chef – After closing, Caroline and Fredrik meet in a duel. Whoever loses is out of the competition. The presenter Tea Malmegård challenges the participants to copy her luxurious dessert: Whoever comes closest wins. First, Tea shows how she does it, then it’s time for the participants to show what they’re up to. They have 60 minutes. – There is no room to make any mistakes, says Fredrik. What must not happen – happens Everything seems to be going well for Fredrik at the beginning. He is known to be good at desserts. And Caroline is worried for a long time that she won’t have a chance. But when there are only a few minutes left, everything goes wrong for Fredrik. His custom-made flan ends up crooked, and when he tries to push it a little, it cracks. – What was not allowed to happen has just happened. I get really angry, he says. Fredrik tries to save it as best he can, but the perfect dessert now has a small flaw. – It’s a little like that you can be happy. Because his was nicer than mine, says Caroline.
