15:45 – Should we expect disruptions on Saturday March 11 as well?
Saturday March 11, 2023 will be the seventh day of strike against the pension reform launched by the inter-union. The idea being to financially attract those who cannot afford to strike during the week, like Saturday February 11. If the calls to demonstrate are numerous, will SNCF transport experience disruptions? For the moment nothing is certain, especially since last Saturday February 11 had not been disturbed.
3:35 p.m. – What to expect on Friday March 10 in the Paris region?
Traffic should “further improve”, says the Paris transport authority. And to detail: “The RATP expects normal traffic on the bus and tram networks. Traffic will remain disrupted on only a few metro lines. On the RER network, traffic will be almost normal on line A and very disrupted on line B .”

14:37 – How to get your train ticket reimbursed during the strike?
In the event of an SNCF strike, the railway company allows all passengers whose train is canceled or whose circulation is not guaranteed to exchange their ticket free of charge for another date, but also, for those who wish, to have the ticket in question refunded in full. Note however that this must be done before the theoretical departure of the train. To do so, the traveler can go either to the SNCF Connect website or application, or to a counter or call 3635.
2:20 p.m. – What alternative solution to travel outside Île-de-France?
A trip is less expensive by carpooling than by taxi, and less tedious by carpooling than by bus! The French platform BlaBlaCar allows a driver to share gas and toll costs with other passengers left behind. Remember that Île-de-France Mobilités offers carpooling in Île-de-France.
The SNCF inter-union called “for a renewable strike”, which means that the movement can continue for several days. SNCF management has already warned that “traffic will remain disrupted on Friday March 10” without providing further details for the moment. She recommends to travelers “who can”, to “cancel or postpone their trips planned for March 10 and to favor teleworking”. However, TGV and Intercités users will have already received an SMS or an email informing them that their Friday train has been cancelled.
