New Jersey Devils’ Erik Haula had a three-point night. Sebastian Aho played the 500th NHL game of his career.
Anaheim’s “cool boy” Trevor Zegras pulled off a spectacular 1-2 win against Seattle in the NHL round of the night. Zegras got to face Seattle’s goalkeeper by Philipp Grubauer with and took the puck from behind his left foot into the top corner.

Carolina Sebastian Aho played his 500th NHL game. Aho celebrated his milestone when the Hurricanes defeated Montreal in the shootout 4–3. Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored the decisive hit in the sixth round of the shootout. Kotkaniemi collected 1+1 performances from the match.
Montreal took the lead twice in the match, but Carolina tied both times.
– I don’t know what’s wrong with us, but somehow we start matches against weaker teams a little carelessly. We need to get rid of this if we want to be the best in the league, Kotkaniemi said (you will switch to another service).
Carolina goaltender Antti Raanta had time to stop eight shots and allow two goals before he was injured and skated off as a substitute at the end of the first period.
