Four people have been murdered in the last five days in Stockholm County, Swedish newspapers say. The showdown between the criminal gangs that started on Christmas Day is in a new deadly round.

According to Swedish newspapers, the murders are related to the showdown of the so-called Södertälje network, and several of the victims of the last few days belong to gang criminals. 18- and 50-year-old women died in an apartment fire in Alby in southern Stockholm on the night between Friday and Saturday, and a 50-year-old man was shot dead in Tullinge Huddinge on the night between Thursday and Friday.
