The De Vive(s) Voix team is in Strasbourg for the staging ofA wildcat step, given from March 2 to 10 at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg. Commissioned from Marie N’Diaye for the exhibition The Black Model at the Musée d’Orsay in 2019, this work aims to reconstruct the life of the Cuban singer Maria Martinez (the “black Malibran”), who enjoyed short-lived fame before disappearing into poverty, in 19th-century Parise century.
