They call themselves the “Poly family”: Erik, Linda and Hampus, all three of whom live together in a relationship with nine children. They are often met with prejudice, the most common of which is that it would be a pity for the children, says Linda.
– But they have three adults who love them and care about them, she says.
Another prejudice is that it would only be about sex. Something they are clear about is not true.
– We are a family that works, cleans and cooks just like everyone else, says Linda.
Hampus says that they understand the prejudices and that it may be a matter of ignorance.
– That is why we work a lot to be open, explain, show and have our social media. From the beginning, we were quite disappointed with the prejudices, but then this has also grown with us, and we encounter this all the time, he says.
