Square picture

For many years, French photographer and filmmaker Raymond Depardon traveled the world. But in his new book In the meantime, he offers another side of his work. The book contains a series of black and white images captured mostly in the streets of Paris between 1979 and 2006. These anonymous photos testify to an urban loneliness that the photographer says he felt in a very intimate way.
