Film from shooting in Kungsängen – several shots at residence

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Several residents alerted the police on the night of Monday about an ongoing shooting in a stairwell in Kungsängen, north of Stockholm.

When the police arrived at the apartment building, several bullet holes were found in an apartment door. No one was injured.

– There have been people at home but no children should have been in the apartment, said Carina Skagerlind at the police in Stockholm County.

The police suspect that the shooting was part of an extortion against a man, something that has been going on since the beginning of December last year.

Previously unpunished

Just over 1.5 hours after the alarm, the police were able to arrest a 19-year-old who has previously been unpunished. He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder, aggravated weapons offense and attempted extortion.

– He denies the crime and contested detention, says District Attorney Jenny Karlsson, who otherwise does not want to comment on the investigation.

TV4 Nyheterna can now show a film that was taken during the shooting. Six loud bangs are heard and damage to the apartment door occurs. The prosecutor confirms that information has been received that the perpetrators may have filmed the act.

– I have heard about it, says Karlsson.
