Order action hits weeks before the cinema release at Amazon

After four years, there’s finally new fodder for the loyal fan base of Keanu Reeves’ action epic about hitman John Wick. The latest offshoot will start in cinemas on March 23, 2023 and is eagerly awaited. Nine years ago, Matrix legend Reeves made his action comeback with the first John Wick film and laid the foundation for a new franchise.

John Wick: Chapter 4 comes to home cinema in 5 different versions: DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray and two limited steelbooks, one with 4K Blu-ray and one with standard Blu-ray. Especially when it comes to Steelbooks, the motto is: be quick! Limited editions are often sold out before the official release. However, it is not yet known what the Steelbooks will look like at all. For many collectors, the look is an important aspect when choosing limited editions.

If you don’t have a 4K TV at home, the Blu-ray versions come with or without a Steelbook. Compared to the 4K edition, you save 10 euros with the normal edition and 5 euros with the Steelbook.

If it’s going to be the steel book anyway, then it’s worth going for the 4K version. In the medium term, there will be a 4K television in every household and the difference between Full HD and 4K Ultra HD resolution is huge, since a 4K Blu-ray has 4 times the resolution. If you value future security or just want the best possible picture quality, the 4K versions are the best choice.

After John Wick is delivered to Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) at the end of the third film while fleeing the entire underworld and goes into hiding with him, he takes on a whole range of new enemies in chapter 4 in the fight with the high chamber. These include hit men like Killa, played by professional villain Scott Adkins, and Caine, brought to life by Ip Man star Donnie Yen.
