Young people are becoming less and less members of a traditional sports club and more often opt for individual sports, without obligations. This is evident from a report by sports umbrella organization NOC*NSF. In the city of Utrecht it has not yet led to empty fields, but sports clubs there are doing everything they can to retain young members. “They should be able to come in more easily.”
