Yesterday, Thursday, was published an article on Aftonbladet debate, in which Gunnar Strömmer together with SD, KD and L announced that parental responsibility should be tightened in an additional directive from the Tidö parties. What it is about is that families should be able to be evicted if the children commit crimes. “The safety of society begins and ends with parental responsibility,” the article wrote.
The background to the addition lies in the fact that the previous government appointed an investigation to make it easier to terminate tenants who have committed crimes. According to the original directives to the investigation, the tenant would not be given as far-reaching supervisory responsibility for their children as for others living in the apartment, such as boarders.
-Basically, it is about the fact that if you, who have a lease, know that your apartment is used as a base for, for example, serious organized crime, then I think it is reasonable that a seventeen-year-old resident is treated in the same way as a seventeen-year-old child, means Gunnar Strommer.
