(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Carsten Spohr was confirmed in the role of chief executive officer Of Lufthansa for another five years. Together with him, the supervisory board has extended the function of chief financial officer at Remco Steenbergen until 2028.
Spohr, engineer and pilot, is 56 years old and has led Lufthansa since 2014, making them overcome the collapse in demand triggered by the pandemic. His contract has been extended until the end of December 2028.
Steenbergen serves as financial director of Lufthansa from 2021. His contract has also been extended until the end of December 2028.
