The man who attacked a police officer outside the police station in Norrköping has been requested to be detained.
He is requested to be detained on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder, the Prosecutor’s Office writes in a press release.
One policeman was seriously injured in the attack, another was slightly injured. The perpetrator, who is in his 60s, was shot in the lower body by police in connection with the incident.
The custody hearing takes place this afternoon in Norrköping district court.
