Stellantis Group, which was born with the coming together of two important names such as Fiat-Chrysler and PSA, has been implementing radical and equally important steps since the first day of its establishment. In the gradual process of restructuring the brands as well as their partnerships, an official statement was finally made for the part of the business that concerns Turkey. With this decision, which will directly affect the fate of very important members such as Egea and Doblo, produced by TOFAŞ, the group’s near-term plans have also become official.

It was announced that the factory in Bursa, where the eyes were turned after the decision to buy the new generation Doblo production from Turkey and to be produced in the facilities in Spain, will continue to produce the current version until July 2023. For Fiat Egea, it was announced that it was decided to continue the uninterrupted production of the product range, which is already on sale, until 2025. Within the scope of the affirmation announced by Stellantis, it will switch to a brand new platform as of the beginning of 2025, and it is vital to allocate the production of this platform to TOFAŞ. The new “K0” production, which is both medium-sized light commercial vehicle and passenger car versions planned for a total of five brands, will be entrusted to Bursa in this context.

An agreement was signed between Stellantis and Koç Holding
With the new strategic agreement signed today and whose decisions we have seen, it has been announced that Tofaş has acquired the entire capital of Stellantis Turkey’s distribution company, Stellantis Otomotiv Pazarlama A.Ş. With this move, all Stellantis brands offered for distribution in Turkey, including Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Jeep, Maserati, Opel and Peugeot, will be distributed by Tofaş.
