Gunmen were encountered in green areas
A man encountered two masked people with a gun-like object when he was walking in a green area by Lake Triangle in southern Stockholm this evening.
The man, who is in his 30s, escaped from the duo by jumping down a cliff and running to a location where police met him.
Several patrols have searched for the perpetrators, but they have not been found.
The police have made a report of a serious crime against the Weapons Act and attempted robbery.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are being forced to move out of their only home in the UK, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, British media reports.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been told to vacate the royal residence just days after Prince Harry’s much-hyped autobiography The Second was published in January.
Now it is instead King Charles’s little brother Prince Andrew who will move into the house with five bedrooms, writes British The Sun.
According to the newspaper, Harry and Meghan are now in the process of moving their belongings to their home in Los Angeles.
Prince Andrew was forced to end all his royal duties in 2019, due to his friendship with pedophile and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
Now there is speculation that his annual support is about to be withdrawn. If that is true, he can no longer afford to live in his 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Problems at Coop throughout the country

Head-on collision on E4 – road closed
On the E4 between Järna and Hölö, two cars have collided head-on after one of the vehicles crossed into the oncoming lane. The E4 has been closed in the northbound direction.
– For an unknown reason, a car has crossed into the oncoming lane, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
Five people are said to be involved in the accident, but the extent of the damage is currently unclear.
– One of them will be taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter. Regarding the others, I don’t know at the moment, says Daniel Wikdahl.
All five people have been taken to hospital for a check-up. The helicopter did not have to carry any injured person, the police later wrote on their website.
One lane has been open to traffic since about 9 pm and the other will be opened as soon as the accident vehicles have been recovered.
The police will file a report on gross negligence in traffic, causing bodily harm and drugged driving.

The police are currently on duty in Bagarmossen in southern Stockholm.
The alarm came in at 19.15 and the police are currently keeping quiet about the incident.
– We are there working with a suspected violent crime. That’s what I can say now, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
A little later, it is stated that a person is injured.
– The person was found at the scene, says Daniel Wikdahl.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it is a suspected assault and someone is said to have been seen disappearing from the scene on an electric scooter.
An ambulance helicopter has been on the scene.
The human factor behind fatal crashes
At least 36 people died in the train accident outside the city of Larissa in northern Greece.
Now the country’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis says that the human factor was behind the crash, reports the BBC.
– I can guarantee one thing. We will find out what caused this tragedy and we will do everything in our power to ensure that something like this never happens again, Mitsotakis said earlier in the day.

One to hospital after assault
A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after being beaten by several perpetrators in a residence in Gävle.
– Among other things, some form of stabbing weapon has been used, says Pelle Vamstad, at the police in Region Mitt.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated assault and police technicians will carry out a crime scene investigation.
No people have been arrested.
Child died in accident
A child under the age of one died in an accident in Jönköping on Wednesday, the police write on their website.
The incident is being investigated as causing the death of another.
An adult was arrested. Relatives have been notified.
The residence has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
Sweden’s radio: No voting in Hungary
The Hungarian parliament will not vote on ratifying Sweden and Finland’s NATO application next week.
This is reported by Sweden’s radio.

Dreaded caterpillar discovered in Europe

The harmful caterpillar of the corn fly, also called autumn armyworm, has been found in Cyprus, reports ATL.
The caterpillar feeds on crops such as corn, cabbage and onions and can cause great damage in crops.
This has happened, among other things, on the African continent, where the insect was discovered for the first time in 2016.
The insect can fly hundreds of kilometers, and in January it finally reached Europe.
According to the European food authority EFSA, it can establish itself in frost-free Mediterranean areas, and spread northward during the warmer part of the year, writes TT.
However, it is not likely that it thrives in the Baltic Sea region.
C wants to ban Tiktok in the Riksdag
Canada, Denmark and the European Parliament have recently banned employees from having the Tiktok app on their mobile phones.
Now the Center Party wants the same to apply in the Riksdag, TT reports.
– We think it is time to say that in the Riksdag you should not have Tiktok, at least not on the Riksdag-owned units, says Niels Paarup-Petersen, C’s spokesperson for digitization and cyber security, to TT.
He emphasizes that the politicians in the Riksdag are security classified and have access to information that may be of interest to the Chinese state.
– It should really be a non-issue. It’s time to get it done.
The party will raise the issue next week in connection with a meeting between the group leaders in the Riksdag.
Man arrested after wave of robberies against shops
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of five different shop robberies in Stockholm.
The robbery occurred during February in Skogås, Farsta, Aspudden, Brommaplan and Hägerstensåsen.
“The police began to suspect that it could be the same perpetrator as there were similarities in the approach to the various robberies and therefore coordinated the investigative work,” the police write on their website.
With the help of, among other things, surveillance images, a suspected perpetrator could be identified.
He was first arrested in his absence and could be arrested on Wednesday morning.
The man is reasonably suspected of four counts of aggravated robbery and one attempted aggravated robbery.
The police will also investigate whether the man is behind more robberies.
