Head-on collision on E4 – road closed
On the E4 between Järna and Hölö, two cars have collided head-on after one of the vehicles crossed into the oncoming lane.
The E4 has been closed in the northbound direction.
Several people are said to be involved in the accident, but the extent of the damage is currently unclear.

The police are currently on duty in Bagarmossen in southern Stockholm.
The alarm came in at 19.15 and the police are currently keeping quiet about the incident.
– We are there working with a suspected violent crime. That’s what I can say now, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it is a suspected assault and someone is said to have been seen disappearing from the scene on an electric scooter.
An ambulance helicopter has been on the scene.
The human factor behind fatal crashes
At least 36 people died in the train accident outside the city of Larissa in northern Greece.
Now the country’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis says that the human factor was behind the crash, reports the BBC.
– I can guarantee one thing. We will find out what caused this tragedy and we will do everything in our power to ensure that something like this never happens again, Mitsotakis said earlier in the day.
Exactly what caused the train accident is still unknown.
One to hospital after assault
A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after being beaten by several perpetrators in a residence in Gävle.
– Among other things, some form of stabbing weapon has been used, says Pelle Vamstad, at the police in Region Mitt.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated assault and police technicians will carry out a crime scene investigation.
No people have been arrested.
Child died in accident
A child under the age of one died in an accident in Jönköping on Wednesday, the police write on their website.
The incident is being investigated as causing the death of another.
An adult was arrested. Relatives have been notified.
The residence has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
Sweden’s radio: No voting in Hungary
The Hungarian parliament will not vote on ratifying Sweden and Finland’s NATO application next week.
This is reported by Sweden’s radio.
But already last week it was decided that no decision would be made before the second half of March. Aftonbladet reported that at the time.
Dreaded caterpillar discovered in Europe

The harmful caterpillar of the corn fly, also called autumn armyworm, has been found in Cyprus, reports ATL.
The insect feeds on crops such as corn, cabbage and onions and can cause great damage in crops.
This has happened, among other things, on the African continent, where the insect was discovered for the first time in 2016.
The caterpillar can fly hundreds of kilometers, and in January it finally reached Europe.
According to the European food authority EFSA, it can establish itself in frost-free Mediterranean areas, and spread northward during the warmer part of the year, writes TT.
However, it is not likely that it thrives in the Baltic Sea region.
C wants to ban Tiktok in the Riksdag
Canada, Denmark and the European Parliament have recently banned employees from having the Tiktok app on their mobile phones.
Now the Center Party wants the same to apply in the Riksdag, TT reports.
– We think it is time to say that in the Riksdag you should not have Tiktok, at least not on the Riksdag-owned units, says Niels Paarup-Petersen, C’s spokesperson for digitization and cyber security, to TT.
He emphasizes that the politicians in the Riksdag are security classified and have access to information that may be of interest to the Chinese state.
– It should really be a non-issue. It’s time to get it done.
The party will raise the issue next week in connection with a meeting between the group leaders in the Riksdag.
Man arrested after wave of robberies against shops
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of five different shop robberies in Stockholm.
The robbery occurred during February in Skogås, Farsta, Aspudden, Brommaplan and Hägerstensåsen.
“The police began to suspect that it could be the same perpetrator as there were similarities in the approach to the various robberies and therefore coordinated the investigative work,” the police write on their website.
With the help of, among other things, surveillance images, a suspected perpetrator could be identified.
He was first arrested in his absence and could be arrested on Wednesday morning.
The man is reasonably suspected of four counts of aggravated robbery and one attempted aggravated robbery.
The police will also investigate whether the man is behind more robberies.
Police chase robbers with helicopter – three arrested
The police received an alarm about a robbery in a residence in Bålsta in Uppsala at 1:30 p.m. Four men allegedly robbed a person at knifepoint and got hold of a bag.
20 minutes later, the next alarm comes from Bålsta. A man has then been robbed of his car at knifepoint.
– Since we have resources in the area from the first case, we quickly send a patrol that discovers the stolen vehicle and follows it, says Pelle Vamstad, press spokesperson at the police.
The pursuit goes towards Sigtuna and a police helicopter is called in and participates in the search. In the vicinity of Håbo-Tibble church village, the driver loses control of the car and drives into a field.
– But they manage to get back on the road, but the car is quite damaged in that situation, says Pelle Vamstad.
The four men then abandon the vehicle and continue to flee on foot. Shortly afterwards, the suspected driver is arrested in a field. After the first arrest, the helicopter spots a man in another field.
– It then lands and grabs the man, says Pelle Vamstad.
A police patrol with a dog then finds a third man. He is caught outside in a field, near a bush and some trees.
– Right now we are looking for the fourth man, says Pelle Vamstad.
The men are currently suspected of robbery and possession of means of transportation.
– But they will probably change, says Pelle Vamstad
The prosecutor has filed a request for an appeal in the snippa verdict
Eva Lotta Swahn, prosecutor in the famous snippa verdict, says SVT News that she has filed a petition for appeal to the Supreme Court.
The crime classification of rape was the only one that was raised in the Court of Appeal verdict, legal councilor Åke Thimfors says that they were therefore unable to sentence for any other crime.
But Eva Lotta Swahn believes that the Court of Appeal pressured her to remove the criminal classification “sexual harassment”.
– The Court of Appeal remarked and said that the claim was “strong”. I then got the feeling that the Court of Appeal did not think it should be included, and removed it, she says to SVT.

Greece’s transport minister is resigning after the tragic train accident last night where a passenger train collided with a freight train, reports Reuters.
So far, 40 people have been confirmed dead in the accident.

The accident happened in the southbound direction so I don’t actually know what the traffic looks like going north? Maybe someone else in the chat knows? 🙂
According to the Swedish Transport Administration, there is still “very significant traffic impact” at least until 6 p.m.
