(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Spanish inflation is expected to rise in February 2023. According to Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), which released a flash estimate today, year-on-year inflation is estimated at 6.1% from 5.9% in January, higher than the 5.9% of the consensus.
The consumer price index on a monthly basis register a 1% increase after -0.2% in January. The figure compares with the +0% expected by the market.
L’harmonized inflationwhich takes into account a different and identical basket for the entire EU, should register a trend increase of 6.1%, higher than the 5.5% of the consensus and compared to the 5.9% of the previous month.
