Black nightshade in peas
Peas were recalled because they contain black nightshade – a herbaceous plant that naturally contains high levels of toxic alkaloids.
However, these substances can cause many undesirable effects, just a few hours after consumption: feeling of harshness, irritation of the mouth or pharynx, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
This is why the Rappel Conso site invites all consumers to no longer consume this lot and to bring it back to the point of sale for a refund.
