Videos of streets, cars and people in North Korea have started to appear on Tiktok and YouTube with hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of views. But the reason is probably something other than the fact that the country’s citizens have started having fun on social media.
– Kim Jong Un and his sister work in a more modern way with propaganda issues. This is one of many steps in that strategy, says Niklas Swanström, North Korea expert.

– I think we will see more and more of this type of propaganda.
