Resident Evil 4 Remake demo announced
During their harrowing escape from a small European village under the captivity of Las Plagas, Leon and his bodyguard Ashley Graham must navigate multiple environments controlled by the Los Iluminados cult. In a vast castle, ruined mines and more, they encounter even more infected villagers, deranged and insidious enemies powered by the Las Plagas parasite. Leon and Ashley must solve the puzzles of hidden mechanisms while battling these enemies. The duo’s path to safety also crosses with special forces agent Major Jack Krauser.
Special agents looking to take on even more challenges in Resident Evil 4 also return the prolific “The Mercenaries” campaign as free post-launch DLC. More information about the demo and “The Mercenaries” DLC’s release timing will be shared later.
In addition to the Standard Edition of Resident Evil 4, a “Deluxe Edition” is available for pre-order. Deluxe Edition includes additional in-game content including costumes, weapons, treasure map and more. Those who pre-order the Standard Edition will earn in-game rewards such as “Attaché Case: Gold” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo”, while pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition also include “Attaché Case: Classic” and “Special Charm: Green Grass” items. These customization items will offer certain in-game abilities when fitted.
Resident Evil 4 will launch on March 24, 2023 for the PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam at an MSRP of $59.99.
