The search continues in the race masses for a mining race in Inner Mongolia in northern China. 47 people are still missing.
A wall in the large quarry in the Alxa region collapsed on Wednesday, when work there was in full swing. Scores of people and vehicles were buried under tons of rock and sand.
So far, six people have been confirmed dead. Six people have also been found alive.
On Friday, the rescue workers changed tactics, as it was judged to be a great danger to the new breed if they were to go too hard with backhoes. Instead, they advance in certain patterns and try to clear away rocks layer by layer. According to Chinese state media, more than a thousand rescue workers are there searching.
