Ecological transition: Intesa Sanpaolo among the most committed listed companies

Intesa repays 20 billion TLTRO III leaving 76 billion

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Intesa Sanpaolo And the only Italian bank, second in Europe, among the 200 listed companies most committed to leading the ecological transition globally, according to the Clean 200 ranking drawn up by as you sow, a non-profit that promotes corporate sustainability through shareholder advocacy activities, and Corporate Knights, the Canadian magazine specializing in sustainability.

The richacknowledgment – reads the note – confirms Intesa Sanpaolo’s commitment to the environment, strengthened with the 2022-2025 Business Plan, which plans to allocate 115 billion euros to the community and to the green transition, to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 for its own and by 2050 for loan and investment portfolios, for asset management and the insurance business, and to help protect and restore natural capital, by planting over 100 million trees and adopting a specific biodiversity policy.

Intesa Sanpaolo – closes the note – was recently reconfirmed first bank in Europe, second in the world and unique in Italy among the 100 most sustainable listed companies in the worldaccording to Corporate Knights and included in CDP’s Climate Change “A List”; it is also the only Italian bank in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (World and Europe), among the main international sustainability indices.
