PHOTOS Brant firefighters rally for community member

Brant County Station 1 (Paris) firefighters held an open house/touch-a-truck event on Saturday, Feb. 18 to raise funds for restaurateur Scott Dammeier, co-owner of Scott’s Family Restaurant in Paris, Ontario.

Dammeier is undergoing treatment for cancer.

A quickly organized fundraiser for restaurateur Scott Dammeier drew 400 to 500 people to the Paris Fire Station Saturday, Feb.  18 where companies donated swag to be handed out and the community donated funds, such as these collected by Tigercat volunteers Joe Azzopardi and Rob Pentesco.
