Amineh Kakabaveh, former political savage in the Riksdag, strikes back against the government and Tobias Billström regarding the NATO process.

Billström has previously said that the process would go more smoothly with the new government because, unlike S, it did not have Kakabaveh as “baggage” in the matter. He was referring to the party’s agreement with Kakabaveh on the Kurdish issue.

“And then they started running shuttles to Ankara to flatter Erdogan. But even though they didn’t have to bring me as luggage, they failed in their purpose,” she writes in a debate article in Expressen.

She believes that the government must break the agreement with Turkey to “save face”.

“Almost five months have passed since the sabotage of the gas pipelines Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2. All this time, the Swedish authorities have remained silent,” writes the Russian embassy in Sweden on the messaging app Telegram.

  • Leaked documents: Russia’s plan to take over Belarus

Leaked documents show how Russia is planning step by step to take over Belarus, reports The express in a new revelation.

The documents “Strategic goals of the Russian Federation in the Belarusian direction”, have been produced in the Russian presidential administration and describe how total control over Belarus should be achieved in three different stages until 2030.

Belarusian citizens are to be converted to Russian through control of Belarusian media, suppression of the country’s culture and language. But also through the creation of pro-Russian groups in the political and military elite, writes the newspaper.

The goal is to cut off Western influence and create a common resistance to NATO. Similar plans must also have been drawn up for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova and Ukraine.

Martin Kragh, director of Eastern European studies at the Foreign Policy Institute, says that the document is about how Belarus will gradually become increasingly dependent on Russia militarily, economically, politically and medially.

    – It is not about a union state where two countries enter on equal terms, he says.

The review of the document has taken place in an international collaboration with investigative journalists, writes Expressen. Among others the German Süddeutsche Zeitung, NDR and WDR.

  • Hello

Would like to know how many people die per year from alcohol use and cannabis use respectively. From what I’ve heard, no one has died from cannabis, but alcohol and alcohol-related

diseases kill a lot of people. Would be interesting facts today, when they want to toughen the punishment for cannabis.

    Arne

Good question Arne. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good answer for you.

According to the Public Health Agency alcohol index 2058 deaths in 2020 were caused by alcohol-related diagnoses.

Died the same year 822 persons of drug and narcotic poisoning. However, I can’t find any statistics that show whether any of them were related to cannabis in particular.

  • Given the situation in the world and Sweden’s vulnerable situation, is it perhaps time to devote more media time to that particular problem? Now is the time to focus on the Swedes’ situation and safety?
