During the early Sunday morning, the police in Borås were alerted about a bloody person in a stairwell.
Shortly afterwards, the bloodied man was found outside the police station in the city, after which the man stated that there was a dead man in a residence nearby.
When the police arrived at the home, they found a dead man and a knife linked to the crime.
The place has been cordoned off for a technical examination, while the bloody man has been arrested on suspicion of murder or manslaughter.
